The Loire Valley has more châteaux than any other region in the world,
or so they tell me. A château is bigger than a mansion, but not as big
as a palace. It's not a castle, because it's not fortified for combat.
Kings and queens would stay in their châteaux when travelling, or they'd
give it to their mistresses. (In the case of the queen, she'd give a
château to the king's mistress if she were to be gotten rid of.)
(The mistress, that is.) (Gotten rid of, that is.)
(Ok, the queen would want to get rid of the king's mistress,
so she'd give her a château.)
(Geez, what you have to do to take up space with text!)
