The architectural style, mostly built in the first half of the 1900s,
is modeled in the spirit of the Colonial period of Sevilla, Spain.
This, combined with the classic 1950s American muscle cars that are
the only form of motorized transportation in the city, Havana appears
to have literally stopped in time. With little sign of any modernity,
only people's attire and culturally American products punctuate through
the otherwise traditional Latin-American peoples, uniquely set in a
Caribbean landscape.
